Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actor. She has won many acting awards and is among of the most well-paid actors. Nush has been an ambassador for various businesses and has her own women's clothing collection. Forbes Magazine is also where she has made an appearance. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) His mother is domestic helper. Karnesh Singh, her brother and film producer served as Merchant Navy. Anushka has finished her education at the Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College located in Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters in Arts Degree in the field of Economics. Anushka had always wanted to be either journalist or model but never an actor. Anushka was moved to Mumbai following her graduation, which is where she joined Elite Model Management. Style expert Prasad Bidapa groomed Anushka. Her first appearance as a fashion model was in the year 2017, after she modelled for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was selected by Rodricks to appear at his spring-summer 2007 collection. Anushka's modelling career began at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. She has since done several campaigns, including campaigns with Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma along with her modeling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and started giving auditions for films. Anushka Sharma's first acting role was in the 2008 film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took time to prepare and did not do the test impromptu. Later on she was signed to three movies under the Yash Raj Films banner. She was the young wife of a man who was older in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared along with Shahid Kapoor and Vi Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed review. Anushka Sharma starred in the movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played the role of a Punjabi woman from the middle classes who runs her own wedding business. The film was well-received and was later a sleeper. Anushka finished her deal of three films together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
